FastWeb - controlled to 64.4% from e.Biscom and participated to 30.8% from AEM, the from Milan energetic company - is the first Italian society offering to the customers, business and private persons, a true and integrated use of Telephone, Internet and TV combined, thanks to fiber optic network that employs IP (Internet Protocol) technology. Fastweb chose Icon Medialab from Milan as their creative and technology partner in developing their online presence, and our consultants were among the development team.

The main focus were the final works on the corporate web site, carried out by our Italian partner. Work included layout updates, content inserting, error corrections, cross-browser checking, resolution checking. Our team was involved in developing and updating their constantly growing web site.

They want to give clear on-line messages to their clients, and that's why their focus was on usability improvements, and updates on content, structure and design. Our team was mainly involved in developing and updating the crucial part of their web site - very complex application form.

Our team was constantly doing updates on their web site using methodology of extreme programing. Prompt response was the main goal as an answer to their ever-changing business. Web site was developed in PHP, with strong use of JavaScript. JavaScript is especially used for deploying very complex logic in validation of the data entered in the very complex application form.
